Agadtantra Deals with various natural and artificial toxic substances and poisons in detail along with their antidotes, signs and symptoms and legal aspects of medical ethics and standards. It addresses various forms of poisoning, including those from plants (Sthavara), animals (Jangama), cumulative toxins (Gara/Dooshi), food adulteration (ViruddhaAhara), and substance abuse. The OPD also provides treatment for related conditions, such as skin diseases, spider, scorpion, and snake bites, allergies, and occupational toxicity, using Ayurvedic principles like shodhana (purification) and shaman (herbal medications).
